Biography
Verity (BSocSc, Hons) is currently a master’s student (Psychology) at Singapore Management University. Her research interests lie in exploring the socio-cultural, dispositional, and attitudinal factors that influence emotional experiences. Thus far, her research has been published in journals such as Social Psychology Quarterly and Cognition and Emotion.
Verity is part of a trio, including Matthew Ng and Nadyanna Majeed, who clinched first place at the ICPSR research paper competitions (Undergraduate) in 2021 for their project titled: "Is Trait Self-Esteem a Resilience Factor Against Daily Stressors? A Multilevel Analysis". The project has since been published in Personality and Individual Differences.
